What Is the ZOOM!® Teeth Whitening Treatment?

The ZOOM!® teeth whitening system is one of the safest and most effective to brighten your teeth. Incredibly fast, ZOOM!® teeth whitening treatments can be performed in just a single office visit. Since it is much more convenient than wearing trays or strips, ZOOM!® teeth whitening treatments are a great choice if you have a busy daily schedule, but still wish to have bright, healthy looking teeth.

How Long Does a ZOOM!® Teeth Whitening Treatment Take?

Usually, ZOOM!® teeth whitening treatment lasts for one visit of about 1-2 hours. Firstly, our dentist will apply a gentle, hydrogen peroxide-based whitening gel to your teeth. The gel is then exposed to a high-intensity light. You’ll find that after the treatment, your teeth will be up to 6-10 shades whiter.

Are There Side Effects?

Dentist-supervised ZOOM!® teeth whitening is a completely safe cosmetic dental treatment. You may experience increased tooth sensitivity to cold for 1-3 days after treatment, but this is the only known side effect. To book a treatment, contact Manlius Dental Group in Manlius.

For our patients who come in for their regular dental health visits, we offer a Lifetime Whitening program that uses custom-made, reusable whitening trays for take-home use. Custom whitening trays are made for you and professional strength whitening materials are sent home with you. At each subsequent 6-month dental health visit, we will provide you with an additional supply of whitening materials, so you can stay white and bright forever.

It is rare to have such a seamless experience at ANY business these days, let alone a dental practice. Every single touchpoint was flawless, from the initial call to the follow-up contact to the quality if care and chairside manner of every one of the practitioners our three family members encountered. I am so pleased with this dental practice! I had some work done to update some fillings in Buffalo (where I live) and was experiencing severe sensitivity and pain from that work so in an effort to fix my issue I got a glowing recommendation for Dr. Jake Revercomb in Syracuse and drove the 5+ hours for a consultation. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful - so personable and intelligent and they took the time to explain everything to me. We came up with a treatment plan and a month later I drove the 5+ hours again to have the fillings re-done! My teeth feel so much better and I am so ecstatic with the results after not being able to chew on the right side of my mouth for months. Couldn't recommend Manlius Dental, Dr. Revercomb, and the wonderful staff more! Would happily drive 5+ more hours a third time if needed (but thankfully that is not the case)!

The Manlius Dental group is extraordinary! From the folks at the front desk to the hygienists, dental assistants and dentists the care and information provided is excellent. I had an issue and the Dental Assistant was very knowledgeable and took great care to make sure I was doing fine while having x-rays etc. The Dentist and the Assistant who saw me were both informative and knowledgeable and made sure that all was well during my visit! Checking out the staff at the front desk were helpful made sure I had further appointment setup. They also assisted me with sending documentation to my insurance.
