All About Crowns and Bridges

Bridges are natural-looking tooth replacements that can help maintain facial structure, while also reducing stress on your jaw and effectively filling in gaps caused by missing teeth. Same-Day CEREC Crowns

Manlius Dental Group in Manlius can provide you with fast, same-day crowns using the state-of-the-art CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) system. CEREC allows dentists to create customized crowns in just one consultation. After an initial examination, the dentist will decide what treatment is best for you. If a crown is required, the damaged part of your tooth will be removed and an optical impression (digital photograph) taken. This impression is then converted into a three-dimensional virtual image by a computer which our dentist will use to design your crown. Our milling machine then uses this data to create a personalized crown which is then fitted, polished, and bonded to your tooth. Ceramic crowns are similar in color and texture to normal teeth. CEREC crowns are resistant to cracking. The procedure is fast and requires fewer injections, less drilling, and less material removed from the damaged tooth.

It is rare to have such a seamless experience at ANY business these days, let alone a dental practice. Every single touchpoint was flawless, from the initial call to the follow-up contact to the quality if care and chairside manner of every one of the practitioners our three family members encountered. Our assessments were extremely thorough--more than any I've ever experienced--and efficient without feeling rushed. One of our family members has a disability and sensory issues that require informed care and another is genuinely phobic about any dentistry, but the experience was so gentle and reassuring--especially with sedation options as-needed--that even our most reluctant family members are now willing to have the medical care they have avoided for too long. I am so pleased with this dental practice! I had some work done to update some fillings in Buffalo (where I live) and was experiencing severe sensitivity and pain from that work so in an effort to fix my issue I got a glowing recommendation for Dr. Jake Revercomb in Syracuse and drove the 5+ hours for a consultation. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful - so personable and intelligent and they took the time to explain everything to me. We came up with a treatment plan and a month later I drove the 5+ hours again to have the fillings re-done! My teeth feel so much better and I am so ecstatic with the results after not being able to chew on the right side of my mouth for months. Couldn't recommend Manlius Dental, Dr. Revercomb, and the wonderful staff more! Would happily drive 5+ more hours a third time if needed (but thankfully that is not the case)!

Both my husband and myself are treated at this office and it has been a wonderful experience. The doctors, hygienists, assistants, and administrators are kind, thorough, and competent in their roles. The office itself is up to date and very clean. This practice keeps up to date on technology and continuing education which gives us confidence that we will always be getting the best care. The Manlius Dental group is extraordinary! From the folks at the front desk to the hygienists, dental assistants and dentists the care and information provided is excellent. I had an issue and the Dental Assistant was very knowledgeable and took great care to make sure I was doing fine while having x-rays etc. The Dentist and the Assistant who saw me were both informative and knowledgeable and made sure that all was well during my visit! Checking out the staff at the front desk were helpful made sure I had further appointment setup. They also assisted me with sending documentation to my insurance.
