Easter Winners!

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

This Spring our office held an Easter drawing for our young  patients. The challenge was to guess how many eggs were in a jar. The two patients with the closest guess were our winners. Cole Canty won with a gift certificate. His winning guess was 800 eggs. The actual amount in the jar was 801!!!  Our other lucky winner was Brenden Bedell. His picture is shown with prize in hand. Congratulations to you both!  Look for our Easter contest next year!

Dental Phobics Have No Fear!

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

Ninety Million people in the U.S. dont see a dentist because of fear. One million other people have conquered that same fear with a safe and effective treatment called oral sedation dentistry. Its not just a trend.  Its a new level of dental care. Dr. Jacob Revercomb has completed a comprehensive and rigorous training program in sedation dentistry through DOCS Education. Dr. Revercomb is proud to offer the service and says, “We’re honored to have the opportunity to help the people in our community with this beneficial treatment. Patients no longer have to be afraid of  the dentist.” The process for patients is simple. After a careful review of their medical history, Dr. Revercomb will choose the appropriate medication to best meet the patients needs.  Driven to their appointment by a companion, the patient will  take a single pill when they arrive at the office.  When treatment is complete and the patient is ready to go home, their companion drives them home and stays with them until they are fully recovered. Due to the amnesic properties of many of the medications, patients have little to no memory of their time in the dental chair by the next day. To learn more about sedation dentistry, call Dr. Revercomb and we can answer any questions you may have.
